The Kórsian Council Republic, The Provisional Kórsian Council, or simply Kórsia is a rump-state existing in the former territory of the [[Sanéan Imperium|Sanean Imperium]]. It spans over the island of Kórsia and the district of Old Istropolj, encompassing the core cultural territories of the former empire. It does not have any direct neighbours but the closest ones would the nations of [[Ashenheim Empire|Ashenheim]] to the north, [[Valerose]] to the east, and [[Hollenberg]] to the south. It was founded in the 3rd Era under the provisional council leader and acting president, Laszlo Molnar. The Kórsian Council Republic, The Provisional Kórsian Council, or simply Kórsia is a rump-state existing in the former territory of the Sanean Imperium. It spans over the island of Kórsia and the district of Old Istropolj, encompassing the core cultural territories of the former empire. It does not have any direct neighbours but the closest ones would the nations of Ashenheim to the north, Valerose to the east, and Hollenberg to the south. It was founded in the 3rd Era under the provisional council leader and acting president, Laszlo Molnar. A Kórsian of Ister descent.
This nation is not the same as the independent state of Kórsia under Nykol Haartman or the Thema of Korsia part of the Messenian Union.
Early History

The Palermo Crisis
On 08/04/26, Laszlo Molnar visits Palermo, now an International City to find it abandoned and mismanaged, bitter and vengeful over the state of the once grand capital of the Sanean Imperium, A telegram by the Kórsian officials is sent to the administration of Palermo, overseen by Ash, Governor of Palermo and Prince of the Void Archives requesting the immediate transferral of the city to the Republic or a small army of Kórsian troops would swiftly occupy the city, aiming to integrate it into the fledgling republic to return as the mighty capital of a renewed Sanean state. As discussions were held between the republic and the nation of Void Archives, a truth became too obvious to ignore. There would be no negotiations and no strings attached. As such both the nations of the Void Archives, Korsia and allies prepared for war.
